Problem Note 63415: IBM Platform Process Manager might not start a flow at the correct time when the time zone is "Asia/Jerusalem"

DetailsDownloadsAboutRate It

Due to changes in the rules for daylight saving time (DST) in Israel, IBM Platform Process Manager flows might not begin at the expected time.

The typical symptom is that a flow begins one hour earlier or later than expected, depending on the time of year when the DST rules take effect, which is usually during March and October.

A patch is available from IBM Platform Computing. The patches apply only to a Windows operating system that has the Asia/Jerusalem time zone set.

You must verify your version of IBM Platform Process Manager before you download and apply the patch. Enter the following command in your Windows command prompt:

C:\> "%JS_SERVERDIR%\jfd -V"

Information similar to the following should be returned:

  • For IBM Platform Process Manager 9.1:
IBM Platform Process Manager 9.1.0.0 Build 229015 (for SAS), Mar 14 2014

  • For IBM Platform Process Manager 9.1.3:
IBM Platform Process Manager 9.1.3.0 Build 247614 (for SAS), Feb 5 2015

If you see anything different from this, you are running a different operating system, or you have a different time zone set, contact SAS Technical Support.

Click the Downloads tab in this note to obtain the fix.
